Elmwood Park Zoo was established in 1924 and currently contains dozens of wild species that hail from all over the globe. Our collection includes jaguars, red pandas, zebras, giraffes, and much more. Our zoo's mission is to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the environment that will inspire future generations to participate in conservation efforts. We are owned and operated by the Norristown Zoological Society. Under this non-profit, Elmwood Park Zoo has maintained its status as one of over 200 zoological institutions accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
